Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk

Saturday:Life Care Centers of America present the 21st annual Memory Walk. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The Kids Fun Run is at 7:50 a.m., the 5K Run is at 8 a.m., and the 5K Walk begins at 9 a.m. The Colorado School of Mines marching band starts off the event, and Come August performs at the finish line. Participants are invited to stay for refreshments and activities. Tribute flags, with a personalized message or the name of someone touched by Alzheimer’s disease, are available for $10.The walk begins and ends in City Park. “Get Fit at the Garden — A Walk for Wellness”
