GREELEY, Colo.—The number of dead cats found at a Greeley man’s home has now reached 133.

Greeley police said Tuesday that 107 cats and kittens have been captured alive at the home, and 133 dead cats and kittens were found on the property. The previous tally reported Monday was about 90 live cats and 85 dead ones, some of which were found in plastic bags.

The investigation is continuing, and no criminal charges have been filed yet. Police haven’t released the homeowner’s name.

Animal control officers had been monitoring the home after noticing an increase in cats in the neighborhood. Police have said the home was cluttered, and it appeared the man was sleeping on the floor.
