IHS, a Douglas County-based business-intelligence provider, on Wednesday reported net income for the third quarter was $34.6 million, or 53 cents per diluted share, compared with income of $34.7 million, or 54 cents per share, in the third quarter of 2009.
Revenue rose 14 percent, to $272 million.
IHS also announced the acquisition of two environmental health and safety information companies, Atrion International and Syntex Management Systems, for a combined purchase price of about $80 million.
