LARAMIE, WYO. — Wyoming coach Dave Christensen says quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels is cleared to play Saturday against No. 11 Utah in Laramie.

Carta-Samuels missed last weekend’s game at TCU because of an undisclosed injury. Wyoming lost 45-0.

The sophomore said Monday said it was tough sitting out the game. He vowed that people will see a new level of enthusiasm from him and that the offense will be ready to play.

UW ranks last out of 120 Football Bowl Subdivision teams in total offense at 240.7 yards per game and rushing yards per game with 69.2. The Cowboys are tied for 118th in scoring at 12.5 points per game.
