My favorite subjects: Environmental science and biology.
My favorite athlete: Todd Helton.
My favorite team: Rockies.
What I listen to: Country.
The best things on my training table: Spaghetti.
Premeet ritual: My teammates and I have a special handshake at the starting line, and I bring a little, stuffed wildcat to the meets.
Time management tip: I have to build my schedule around workouts. During running time, I can recuperate and have rest time for my brain. It centers me and gives me a balance regarding myself, school and sports.
Planned career: Leaning toward sciences; first recruiting visit was to Colorado State, looking at others in Montana and perhaps Utah.
My family: Parents Marshall and Lynne, brother Logan.
I would love to visit: Ireland.
What high school sports mean to me: We have such a good group of girls. I would be so different if I wasn’t in cross country. My friends will be for a lifetime. It’s great. I’ve learned leadership and how to do things outside of cross country.
