CHICAGO — The Tribune Co. board of directors is expected to ask for the resignation of controversial chief executive Randy Michaels today, according to a person directly involved in the matter.
The individual, who spoke on the condition of not being identified, said the board had lost confidence in Michaels’ ability to lead the troubled company.
