FORT WORTH, Texas — Safety Jon Davis led the Falcons in tackles with 10 on Saturday night against TCU. His work is just beginning.
“We have to get this one out of our heads and move on,” Davis said. “We have a long season left. We have to get a game plan and get ready to play Utah.”
Linebacker Patrick Hennessey credited TCU quarterback Andy Dalton’s supporting cast. Tailback Ed Wesley rushed for 209 yards, and his replacement, Matthew Tucker, ran for 63.
“They were hard runners,” Hennessey said. “We have to tackle better. We’ve been saying that for three weeks.”
