Description:
During the Roaring ’20s in Chicago, hopeful vaudeville star Roxie Hart murders her disloyal lover and then convinces her unfortunate husband, Amos, to take the blame. He does – until he finds out he’s been tricked and turns his back on Roxie. Convicted and sent to Death Row, Roxie, with the help of attorney Billy Flynn, fights for the spotlight and the headlines with “Merry Murderess” Velma Kelly. Finally the two join forces in search of the cynical “American Dream.” This edgy satire features a score and choreography by Bob Fosse that has made this popular Broadway musical
