One person remained in the hospital Saturday, a day after a Dodge Durango smashed through the front doors of a pet store in Douglas County.
Littleton Adventist Hospital said the victim was in serious condition. Three other people being treated at the hospital were released Saturday, and a person treated at Sky Ridge Medical Center was released Friday night.
The driver of the sport utility vehicle told authorities she was backing out of a parking place and her vehicle accelerated backward and wouldn’t stop, crashing into the front of the Petco on Sgt. Jon Stiles Drive.
