Former Gov. Bill Owens, a Republican, said Tuesday that he was “proud” to be a co-chairman of Democratic Gov.-elect John Hickenlooper’s transition team.
“I think that everybody has a responsibility to see that our elected officials are successful,” Owens, who is in Moscow, said in a voice mail.
Owens was in a group of 16 co-chairs announced Monday.
