Jonathan Duhamel’s nearly $9 million bonanza for winning the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas this week might stir the imagination of many a card-playing youngster. “I’m just one lucky guy who got far in that tournament,” the 23-year-old Canadian said Thursday. “I don’t recommend anybody should quit school or stuff like that.” Then again, it worked out well for Duhamel — he dropped out of the finance program a few years ago at the University of Quebec at Montreal.
