Angelina Jolie opens up about her home life, including son Pax’s culinary skills, in the December issue of Vogue magazine.
In the article, readers get a glimpse inside the Jolie-Pitt household with its six kids, bulldog named Jacques and nannies who speak Vietnamese to Pax and Cambodian to Maddox.

Jolie says she feels her oldest son Maddox, now 9, almost raised her in a way. She adopted him in 2001. She says Maddox seems very aware of his mother’s feelings. “He’s just this little man that’s very supportive of me-it’s like he’s raised me a bit. So I cooked them all breakfast before school this morning, and he has that kind of ‘Thanks, Mom! Good job!'”
She also talks about daughter Shiloh, who recently found a dead bird and wanted to keep it for a pet. Jolie’s answer: find a bird from a taxidermist instead.
Jolie shares some of those “every mom” struggles that parents everywhere can identify with. She and longtime partner Brad Pitt make sure one of them is always home with the kids while the other is working.
What makes Jolie different, of course, is the paparazzi follows wherever she and Pitt go.
She’s chosen to navigate Hollywood her way, without an agent or a publicist — which is rare — especially for an A-list actress.
As for Pitt, Jolie addresses him as “extremely handsome and the most sexy,” but says she feels most in love when she sees him with their six kids.
According to Liam Neeson, Mel Gibson doesn’t harbor any hard feelings about being replaced by Neeson in a “Hangover 2” cameo.
When he was offered a shot at the role, which was first reported to be that of a Bangkok tattoo artist, Neeson says he “didn’t realize” it had originally gone to Gibson but eventually had a “very pleasant” conversation with his fellow actor about it.
“I spoke to Mel,” he told Access Hollywood Tuesday at the premiere for his new film The Next Three Days. “Mel’s cool about it. We’re all cool.”
Neeson also pointed out he has a history with Gibson, with whom he worked on the 1984 film The Bounty.
“Mel and I did a movie together about 20 or 25 years ago,” Neeson, 58, said. “It was a long time ago. So, we know each other.”
Neeson revealed his part is being filmed at a movie studio in Los Angeles and shot down rumors he’ll play a tattoo artist – but would not reveal what his role will actually be.
In the new issue of Rolling Stone, Phil Collins says he believes that he may have lived past lives and that he’s contemplated suicide. “I wouldn’t blow my heard off,” he says. “I’d overdose or do something that didn’t hurt. But I wouldn’t do that to the children. A comedian who committed suicide in the Sixties left a note saying, ‘Too many things went wrong too often.’ I often think about that.”
Decades of criticism have taken their toll, and Collins says he has little desire to create more music beyond his new disc of Motown covers, Going Back. Collins said, “I don’t understand it. I’ve become a target for no apparent reason.”
“I sometimes think I’m going to write this Phil Collins character out of the story,” the singer says. “Phil Collins will just disappear or be murdered in some hotel bedroom, and people will say, ‘What happened to Phil?’ And the answer will be, ‘He got murdered, but, yeah, anyway, let’s carry on.’ That kind of thing.”
A suburban New York house owned by Mikhail Baryshnikov is on the market for an asking price of about $4 million.
The Wall Street Journal says the ballet great and his wife, Lisa Rinehart, are becoming empty nesters.
Baryshnikov bought the house in 1981. The 19th-century home features six bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms and sweeping views of the Hudson River.
Baryshnikov danced with the Kirov Ballet in Russia before defecting to Canada in 1974. He later shot to superstardom as a principal dancer at New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. On TV, he appeared in “Sex and the City,” and starred in the movies “White Nights” and “Company Business.” The house is in Snedens Landing. The artists’ enclave is in the hamlet of Palisades, N.Y., about 20 miles north of the city.
