A Westminster woman with Alzheimer’s disease who had been missing since early Sunday was reunited with her family Tuesday morning.
Westminster police investigator Trevor Materasso said that Linda Nevermissashot, 60, “appeared disoriented” when she was returned to her family but that she was in good health after spending about 48 hours away from home.
Materasso reported earlier Tuesday that Nevermissashot had been spotted near the Samaritan House shelter at 23rd and Curtis streets in Denver. She was reunited with her family in the same area.
It was believed that Nevermissashot was given vouchers to stay in area hotels Sunday and Monday nights, which would have kept her out of the cold, Materasso said. Howard Pankratz, The Denver Post
