BOISE, Idaho — Kellen Moore overcame a shaky first quarter to throw for 333 yards and four touchdowns, and No. 3 Boise State handed Fresno State its first shutout in 12 years with a dominating 51-0 victory Friday night.

Moore threw an interception and fumbled in the first quarter. He responded by dissecting the Fresno State secondary, regularly finding his favorite targets — Titus Young and Austin Pettis — wide open. Young and Pettis both caught two touchdowns and Young became the school’s all-time leader in yards receiving on his 42-yard TD catch in the second quarter.

Moore, just a junior, moved past Ryan Dinwiddie to become Boise State’s all-time leader in yards passing.

Boise State (10-0) extended the nation’s longest win streak to 24.

But Moore’s effort was nearly overshadowed by a defense that held Fresno State (6-4) to just 125 total yards and nine first downs.

USC leaves Baxter at home

LOS ANGELES — Southern California freshman tailback Dillon Baxter was left home while the Trojans traveled to Oregon State after what coach Lane Kiffin called inadvertent contact with an agent.

Kiffin said Baxter got a ride on campus Thursday in a golf cart driven by two students. The coach said USC later learned one of the students “may be an agent.”

The school immediately reported the incident to the NCAA, Kiffin said.
