COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado College goalie Joe Howe made 26 saves to lead Colorado College to a 2-0 win over Alaska-Anchorage on Saturday and a split of their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series.

Howe made 32 saves on Friday, but gave up two late goals in a 4-3 overtime loss. He made 13 saves Saturday to preserve the Tigers’ 1-0 lead.

Tim Hall scored an empty-net insurance goal with 54 seconds to play.

Archie Skalbeck’s goal at 2:08 of the second period gave the Tigers (6-7-1, 3-5-0) the lead for good.

Rob Gunderson made just 18 saves, including four in the third period, for the Seawolves (4-8-2, 3-6-1).
