CLASS 5A SEMIFINALS
Mullen 41, Grandview 7
Adonis Ameen-Moore had four touchdowns, and No. 1-seeded, two-time defending champion Mullen extended its winning streak to 32 games.
Regis Jesuit 21, Cherokee Trail 20
Regis Jesuit jumped to a big lead behind Casey Young’s two TDs, then held off a game second-half charge by speedy Cherokee Trail for a 21-20 squeaker for a victory in the Class 5A semifinals.
CLASS 4A SEMIFINALS
Valor Christian 28, Broomfield 10
Brock Berglund threw three touchdowns, and the No. 5-seeded Valor Christian earned a spot in the title game in its first season in 4A.
Wheat Ridge 32, Dakota Ridge 14
Quarterback Nick Ossello ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as Wheat Ridge returned to the 4A state final for the third time in five seasons.

CLASS 3A SEMIFINALS
Glenwood Springs 25, Canon City 6
Luke Jacob had a 30-yard TD to put the game out of reach, and propel Glenwood Springs to its second championship game in three years.
Elizabeth 34, Vista Ridge 7
Elizabeth used a 14-7 halftime lead to cruise to the 3A final in search of its first-ever state championship.
CLASS 2A SEMIFINALS
Brush 29, Kent Denver 25
Connor Weisser scored on a 3-yard run with 0.7 seconds remaining to cap a wild comeback for Brush.
Olathe 24, Florence 21
Olathe earned a spot in the title game for the second time in three years, having won the 2008 2A title.
CLASS 1A FINAL
Burlington 13, Wray 7
Burlington turned a fumble recovery into its final score in capturing its first title since 2001, when it won 2A.
8-MAN FINAL
Hoehne 14, Caliche 8 (OT)
Hoehne wins its first state title since 1980 thanks to two touchdowns from Martin Waln, including the winner in overtime.
