DETROIT — A community prayer vigil was held Wednesday in Detroit for Aretha Franklin, who organizers say is to undergo an unspecified medical procedure today.
Last month, Franklin announced she was canceling all concert dates and personal appearances through May on the orders of her doctors. A message seeking comment was left with Franklin’s publicist.
