Two Denver parking enforcement officers have been charged with forgery related to a fraudulent parking citation issued to a motorist who argued and called one of the men a “meter maid” and told him to get a real job.
Eric Madril, 30, was charged with conspiracy to commit forgery. John Culhane, 44, is charged with forgery and conspiracy to commit forgery.
The charges allege that on Aug. 19, 2009, Madril conspired with Culhane to issue a fraudulent parking ticket to Joshua Miscles, who argued with Madril after receiving a ticket for not having a front license plate. A few days later, he received a second ticket, written by Culhane, in the mail claiming he had parked in a handicapped-parking spot.
