CASTLE ROCK — A fire Monday forced the evacuation of a townhouse complex, though the flames were contained to a single unit. The Castle Rock Fire Department responded to the fire in the 1000 block of Highland Bluff Drive about 9:15 a.m. after a homeowner returned from dropping off her children at school and found the kitchen filled with smoke, said Kristin Accola, spokeswoman for the town of Castle Rock.
