Parker police said five students at Sierra Middle School are facing charges of possessing and, for two of them, distributing, marijuana.
Police are not releasing details of the case, including the students’ names, because they are juveniles.
Officers were called to the school Monday. Spokeswoman Sara Walla said the amount of pot was small, less than an ounce among all five students. The case remains under investigation, she said.
Possessing marijuana is a misdemeanor. Distributing marijuana is a felony, police said. Joey Bunch, The Denver Post
