LAKEWOOD — An elderly man who was hit and pinned beneath a car in Lakewood on Saturday has died.
Lakewood police haven’t identified the man, who died after being taken to St. Anthony Central Hospital on Saturday, said Lakewood police spokesman Steve Hipwell.
The man, in his mid-70s, stopped at a King Soopers store at South Kip ling Street and West Florida Avenue to mail a letter.
When he returned to the parking lot, he was struck by a car driven by a 77-year-old woman.
He was pinned beneath the wheels of the car.
