An elderly man who was hit and pinned beneath a car in Lakewood on Saturday has died.
Lakewood Police haven’t identified the man, who died after being taken to St. Anthony Central Hospital Saturday, said Lakewood PD spokesman Steve Hipwell. The man, who was in his mid-70s, stopped at a King Soopers store at South Kipling Street and West Florida Avenue to mail a letter. When he returned to the parking lot he was struck by a car driven by a 77-year-old woman.
He was pinned beneath the wheels of the car.
