LOS ANGELES — Police say one person was killed and three others were wounded in an exchange of gunfire on Christmas morning between a group of pedestrians and passengers in a car near Dodger Stadium.

Lt. John Romero says gunfire broke out before noon Saturday, wounding three pedestrians before the white Honda Civic drove away from the scene.

The car was found less than 2 miles away with a dead, unidentified Hispanic male inside, he said. Police say another person was in critical condition and that two more were taken to a hospital with lesser wounds.

No arrests have been made, and other details of the attack were not released.

Romero said it was too soon to say whether the incident was related to gang activity, but some authorities said that it was a strong possibility.
