DENVER—Recent storms are helping boost snowpack in much of Colorado.

On Thursday, the snowpack statewide was 134 percent of average according to the Natural Resources Conservation Service.

The Upper Rio Grande basin was the only one in the state that was below average, just barely, at 98 percent.

A storm is expected to bring more snow through Friday for much of the state.
