After a very lengthy set change between opener and headliner, the members of took to the stage playing their beautiful melodies accented by lead vocalist Todd Sheaffer. The enthusiastic crowd kept on their feet, dancing and grooving and cheering loudly, especially when AEG’s Don Strasburg announced that Railroad Earth (and friends?!) would be playing an additional night for those not too exhausted after New Year’s Eve….

opened the show with a mostly original set, save for a stunning cover of Paul Simon’s classic “You Can Call Me Al” complete with a call and response audience solo. They were joined by several guests, including local saxophone player Pete Wall, Andy Goessling and Tim Carbone from Railroad Earth, the latter of whom just produced WWR’s latest studio effort. Their consummate musical skills and showmanship built the energy for the long night of music yet to come.
