BROOMFIELD — As FlatIron Crossing mall in Broomfield starts 2011 fresh off its 10th anniversary last year, several stores are shuttering their doors.
Mall operators point to 10-year leases being up.
Cinnabon, formerly located on the mall’s second level, was just one of four eateries to close its doors for good Dec. 31.
Other storefronts boarded Monday include Wetzel’s Pretzels, McDonald’s and Panda Express. Youth fashion giant Abercrombie & Fitch will shutter its FlatIron location later this month.
Restoration Hardware will be closing its location due to corporate downsizing, mall officials say. Clothing store Buckle will be temporarily relocated for a remodel that will add 1,000 square feet.
