Jose Beltran-Galindo escorted two men outside the restaurant where he worked Tuesday night when they were involved in a quarrel with three other men inside.
During the fracas, Galindo, 33, was shot once and collapsed in the parking lot. The five men who were involved in the argument scattered from El Torito Bar & Grill, at West 10th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.
Police were looking for the two vehicles the men left in, a white Chevrolet minivan with a dark hood and a full-size tan or gold sport utility vehicle.
