PUEBLO, Colo.—A teenage boy from Pueblo is accused of shooting three people, killing one, in a botched drug deal.
Police say the 16-year-old shot three other teenagers Thursday in a drug deal gone bad. Eighteen-year-old Marco Morales died from a gunshot to the head.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports that two other teens—18-year-old David Lucero and 17-year-old Isaiah Chacon—are hospitalized.
Police haven’t identified the suspected shooter because of his age. The boy allegedly shot the three other teens in a parked Honda Thursday night in a drug deal that turned into a robbery.
The suspect was also shot during the struggle, but his injury isn’t life-threatening.
Grievance counselors visited two high schools attended by the victims Friday.
