A man convicted in the beating death of his infant son was sentenced Friday to 40 years in prison.
Travis Anderson, 27, was convicted in November of manslaughter and child abuse resulting in death after his 20-day-old son, Sean, died in December 2009. The infant suffered severe head injuries and died after neither Anderson nor the child’s mother, 28-year-old Crystal Eccleston, sought immediate medical care for him.
