Ute Energy LLC, a company majority owned by the Ute Indian Tribe along with affiliates of Houston-based Quantum Energy Partners, announced Monday that it has entered into an exploration and development agreement with the Ute Indian Tribe in an area known as Randlett in Uintah County, Utah.
The agreement gives Ute Energy the right to explore, develop and market oil and gas from about 21,000 acres on the Uintah and Ouray Reservation in northeastern Utah.
