A piñata shut down the Superior Costco and its surrounding parking lot this afternoon.
A robot deployed by the Boulder County Bomb Squad opened a package left underneath a vehicle this afternoon that was called in as suspicious.
“It turned out to be a pinata,” said sheriff’s Cmdr. Rick Brough.
He was not sure whether it was stuffed with candy.
