Colorado Springs police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an armed bank robber they believe responsible for at least four recent heists.

Photos, pulled from surveillance videos inside banks, show the robber dressed in winter clothing – wearing a hood and gloves – and further obscuring his identity with a mask and glasses.

The robber is shown brandishing a silver handgun in one of the photos.

Police describe the bank robber as a man, of unknown race, who is about 5-feet 10-inches tall with a medium to muscular build. Investigators believe the robber’s age to be in the early-20s to early 30s.

Victims have not noticed any discernible accent, police said.

Police believe the same man has committed the following robberies:

Dec. 28, Academy Bank, 2835 Briargate Blvd.

Jan. 10, American National Bank, 4194 Royal Pine Drive.

Jan. 15, TCF Bank, 5470 E. Woodmen Road

Jan. 22, TCF Bank, 4330 N. Academy Blvd.

Anyone with information on the robberies or a possible suspect is asked to call police at 719 444-7539 or 719 667-2786.

Tipsters can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 719 634-STOP.
