A man shot multiple times while standing in a Denver front yard was fired upon from a car, police said.
Quentin Smith, 21, of Denver was taken to Denver Health Medical Center from East 36th Avenue and Pontiac Street about 1:10 a.m. Saturday, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. He was shot multiple times.
Smith was standing in the front yard of home when he was shot by a someone who was inside a vehicle, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The vehicle raced from the scene after the shooting.
Police did not release a description of the vehicle or a possible motive in the fatal shooting.
The shooter remains at large.
