LOVELAND, Colo.—Loveland police have arrested one suspect and are looking for another in what they say started out as a drug deal and ended with shots fired and a car crashing into a storefront.
Police have arrested 21-year-old Terrence Straughter of Loveland on charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and other crimes in Monday’s incident. They say they’re looking for a second suspect, 20-year-old Cody Brubaker of Loveland.
The two are accused of planning to rob the victims of marijuana they were supposed to buy. Police say a suspect threatened the driver of the vehicle with a gun, and a struggle took place. Police say the driver hit the gas and slammed into a building.
Police say shots were fired, but no one was hit or injured in the crash.
