Highlights from the Colorado Legislature on Tuesday:
— Snow day! The Senate canceled all meetings for weather. The House met as usual, though little was done and some representatives joked that they should’ve taken a snow day, too.
— The Republican House decided to set up a conference committee to try to hammer out differences with the Democratic Senate over a nonbinding spending resolution.
— A House committee rejected a proposal to increase penalties for habitual graffiti offenses (House Bill 1061).
New bills:
— Repeals sales taxes on soft drinks (House Bill 1162).
