DENVER—Bitterly cold weather continues across much of Colorado.

A wind chill warning was still in effect Wednesday across the eastern half of the state though winds have diminished.

At 8 a.m., Denver was at negative 10 and the temperature in Limon on the eastern plains was minus 17 but negative 33 with the wind chill.

Parts of the High Country were much colder. Leadville was minus 30 and Craig, in northwestern Colorado, was 36 degrees below zero.
