Boulder police will likely ticket a Regional Transportation District bus driver later accused of running over a pedestrian’s foot.

Three bones in the woman’s left foot were broken in the Tuesday accident, according to traffic officer Ross Richart.

Richart said the accident is still being investigated, but officers plan to ticket the bus driver.

The accident happened at 14th Street and Canyon Boulevard.

The woman had a “walk signal” and had just stepped into the crosswalk when the bus took a wide turn and the rear tires of it crushed her foot, Richart said.
