Fountain police arrested Jesse A. Hopkins yesterday for a burglary at a VFW in October.
On Oct. 18, Hopkins, 18, allegedly burglarized a VFW at 753 S. Santa Fe Ave, according Mike Haley, spokesman for the Fountain police.
Hopkins was arrested at his home at 111 Mojave Way. Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives assisted in the arrest “because of the possibility that there may have been other crimes that involved weapons,” Haley said.
Hopkins faces charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. The investigation is ongoing.
