A 2-year-old boy died Wednesday night, a day after Brighton police arrested a man on child-abuse charges.
John Bradley, Brighton police spokesman, told 9News that Donald Jean Scarlett, 31, was arrested Tuesday afternoon after Michael Harris, 2, was taken to a hospital. It’s unclear if Scarlett and Harris are related.
