PUEBLO, Colo.—The man accused of holding up the Bellagio hotel-casino reportedly visited Pueblo about two weeks after the robbery, telling friends he had gotten lucky in Las Vegas.

Pueblo station KOAA-TV reports 29-year-old Anthony Michael Carleo, known locally as Tony Mike, grew up in the southern Colorado town and returned to visit just after Christmas. Friend Tiana Woodruff told the station that he insisted on picking up the tab.

“You know we were doing rounds of shots, having a great time, beer and shots for everybody,” Woodruff said. “He had a lot of money on him and he told us, you know he lives in Vegas and that he had just gotten lucky gambling and that he won $80,000 gambling.”

A Las Vegas police report does not say whether Carleo traveled to Colorado after the heist, but notes they can’t account for his whereabouts between Dec. 20 and New Year’s Eve.

Carleo graduated from Pueblo South High School in 2000. He was a member of the student council.

Carleo worked as a estate broker, but declared bankruptcy in Colorado in May 2009. On his bankruptcy filing, he listed among his personal belongings a .40-caliber Taurus pistol.

He also worked as a mobile DJ and had a limousine service.?????
