JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 29-year-old man became stuck after scaling up more than 300 feet at Red Rocks Park on Sunday.

He called for help about 5 p.m., and West Metro Fire Rescue used ropes to help him down about 9:15 p.m., a spokeswoman said.

The man, whose name was not released, was not injured but couldn’t get down on the snowy, icy terrain once night set in.
