ELDORA — A 35-year-old man from Boulder was killed Sunday when he rode his snowboard into a tree at Eldora Mountain Resort near Nederland.
His name was not released pending notification of family, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said.
The man was snowboarding with four friends in a closed area within the resort’s bounds about 1:30 p.m. when he was reported to have hit a tree, the department said in a statement.
