Three people were displaced by an apartment fire early this morning in southeast Denver.
The fire broke out at about 2:30 a.m. at 9045 E. Girard Ave., said Lt. Phil Champagne, a Denver Fire Department spokesman.
No one was injured in the fire, Champagne said.
The fire, in an apartment building near the John F. Kennedy Golf Course, was quickly contained and put out by Denver firefighters. The cause of the fire, which may have started in a ceiling fan, is under investigation.
The American Red Cross is helping three adults who have been displaced by the fire, the organization said in a media release.
