Getting your player ready...
All Colorado K-12 students are invited to participate in the 2011 Junior Duck Stamp Program, which culminates with an art contest to select a national $5 stamp whose proceeds fund environmental education and scholarships.
Participants combine scientific and wildlife observation principles with artistic talent to produce entries submitted to a state coordinator. After age-group judging, a “best of show” is selected for entry into the national contest.
The winner of that competition winds up on the official Junior Duck Stamp for the following year.
Entries must be postmarked by March 15. State winners will be recognized on May 14.
