In case you missed it, the outstanding coaches and wrestlers of the year were announced late at the Pepsi Center after the conclusion of Saturday’s 76th tournament.
Coaches: Matt Brickell, Coronado, 5A; Monte Trusty, Windsor, 4A; Gary Ramstetter, Alamosa, 3A; and Doug Duell, Burlington, 2A. Wrestlers: Alonso Wong, Mountain Range, 5A; Nathaniel Garcia, Windsor, 4A; Elliot Copeland, Bennett, 3A; and Layne Crumley, 2A, Akron. The total attendance was 42,560.
