CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—One of four men arrested in connection with the slayings of two people in Douglas County is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve.
The Denver Post reports that 26-year-old Josiah Sher enlisted in 2002 and is a sergeant in the Reserve.
The Douglas County sheriff’s office announced the arrests on Monday in deaths of 39-year-old Amara Wells and 49-year-old Robert D. Rafferty. The two were related by marriage and their bodies were found in Rafferty’s home near Castle Rock Wednesday.
One of the other men arrested was Wells’ estranged husband. He was arrested the day before the bodies were found for allegedly violating a restraining order.
The Post reports that all four men worked at the same auto dealership in Colorado Springs during the past year.
