Part man, part fiction, all YouTube sensation. Domingo Ayala (stage name) lightened the mood at Rockies camp Sunday with his unique brand of baseball and barbs. Ayala, who’s a dead ringer for Ryan Spilborghs’ little brother, dropped jaws with his one-handed grab in the team’s ragball comebacker competition. He speared a line drive, then autographed it for infield coach Rich Dauer.

“It wasn’t staged,” said Ayala, whose videos can be found at . “My fans know all my talent is God-given.”

He worked in batting practice with Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez, telling CarGo: “You win a battle title. So, I win five.” He instructed them to use a double front leg kick and severely drop their back shoulder. Ayala repeated the phrase “every time” after each of his hits. Ayala’s day finished with him dressed in a Rockies uniform sitting across the desk from manager Jim Tracy.

“So, is this when we talk money?” he said, never departing character.
