BOULDER, Colo.—Bri Wilber scored 7 of her 13 points in overtime Friday evening, leading the Broomfield Eagles to an unprecedented fifth straight Colorado girls state championship with a 48-38 victory over the Longmont Trojans in the Class 4A title game.

Trailing 37-36 with 2:44 left in overtime, Wilber sank a 3-pointer that gave No. 2 Broomfield (25-3) the lead for good. The freshman forward then sank four free throws to help seal the win for the Eagles, who also beat Longmont for the crown last year.

No. 1 Longmont (26-2), which led 11-10 at halftime, dropped its second game this year to its Northern League rival.

The only other Colorado team to win five straight state basketball titles is the Merino boys (1976-80).
