The death of a 21-year-old woman found dead in her Aurora apartment last month has been declared a homicide.

Aurora police discovered Camille Jackson’s body on Feb. 5 at her apartment in 15400 block of East 13th Avenue, after a concerned caller asked them to check on her.

When officers arrived there was no answer, but an infant was heard crying inside. Officers forced their way inside the apartment and found Jackson’s body and the baby alive.

The infant was checked out at a local hospital and was released to family members.

The Arapahoe County Coroner has ruled Jackson’s death a homicide, but the cause of death is not being released.

There have been no arrests in connection to this case, and police have not released any information regarding any suspects.
