The Colorado Automobile Dealers Association released a report Friday that shows a 26.8 percent increase in car and light truck sales in February compared with the same month last year. CADA also reported a 17 percent increase since the beginning of the year. Meanwhile, year-to- date used-car registrations were down 4.7 percent.
“The Colorado trend for new car sales is tracking in double digits with the same numbers nationally in spite of increasing gas prices. This is positive news for Colorado dealers leading into the annual Denver Auto Show,” said Tim Jackson, president of CADA.
